East Asia University of Technology was approved to be established by the Prime Minister on 09 December 2008 under the Decision No. 1777/QD-TTg. East Asia University of Technology is a multi-disciplinary university in the national education system. The university trains the following levels: College, Undergraduate and Postgraduate with many forms: Full-time, transition from college to university program and part-time. East Asia University of Technology determines that:
Mission
To train high-quality and comprehensive human resources with good ethical qualities and professional qualifications to meet the needs of the society; To develop scientific research towards application; To develop technology and knowledge transfer to serve the development of the country.
Goal
To build East Asia University of Technology in a multi-disciplinary direction with concentration on modern technology and practical application in production, in which specialized units are organized into facilitated Institutes, Faculties and Research centers.
To build the model of a successful, sustainable and comprehensive autonomous non-public university (finance, organization and applied science) with an advanced governance model, strong financial system, modern campus infrastructure and facilities that keep pace with the region

To improve the quality of all training programs according to regional or international accreditation standards; with the aim to be in the top 30 universities in Vietnam and to attain high position in the region.
To form an effective technology application and innovation center, step by step attract capital and investment resources from the State, domestic and foreign organizations and enterprises.
To build an innovative, open and internationalized applied science environment; attract domestic and international excellent students and scientists to study, research and work.

East Asia University of Technology strives to become one of the leading applied research-oriented universities in Vietnam and region, with concentration on technology, the business administration has important impact on development of knowledge economy and contributes to socio-economic development.
